I would like to request the purchase of In the Shadow of the Palms, in order for me to use it as a source in my thesis, which deals with a similar topic in a different territory. The book focuses on the developmental complexities of oil palm plantations in West Papua, Indonesia, and higlights the multi-species entanglements of these plantations. I believe this book to be worth the purchase as it is an innovative approach to the research of a territory and the space making agency of more-than-humans.
