This textbook is one of the most influential books on modern artificial intelligence research especially after the infamous “The Bitter Lesson” blog post by author himself. Many products such as ChatGPT, Gemini etc. uses important algorithms and approaches explained in this book. I believe in a time of booming AI research such a core textbook should be available to engineering students of PoliTo.
